- Design, implement, and enhance highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components using functional programming techniques.
- Participate in business requirements reviews and create functional and technical design documentation.
- Develop and implement testing procedures for APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to address complex distributed computing challenges, covering end-to-end tests and integration scenarios.
- Take part in design reviews to provide input on functional and non-functional requirements, product designs, timelines, and potential issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure predictability, productivity, and high-quality delivery.
- Review code and take responsibility for the team’s development and testing activities.
- Contribute to proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of new technologies.
Basic Qualification
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 0-1 years of professional experience in the technology sector, with skills in coding and testing.
- Strong technical expertise in web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit testing, shell scripting, and RDBMS is advantageous.
- Experience with Cassandra, Solr, or NoSQL technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and working in various development methodologies, as well as knowledge of code/test coverage, is beneficial.
- Excellent proactive communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams are essential.
