- Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and PowerShell, thereby supporting routine system and operational tasks.
- Support basic automation workflows, including job scheduling, file handling, and system monitoring, while working under proper guidance.
- Help troubleshoot automation-related issues by analyzing logs, identifying failures, and assisting with root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement assigned enhancements; additionally, ensure proper documentation while following standard coding and security practices.
- Possess basic knowledge of Python programming and scripting, including core fundamentals, data structures, functions, object-oriented concepts, file handling, and exception handling.
- Demonstrate familiarity with automation and scripting concepts, such as task execution, job scheduling, file operations, and basic system administration.
- Have an understanding of databases and SQL fundamentals, thereby enabling simple data queries and data handling.
- Show basic exposure to REST APIs and JSON, and understand how Python scripts interact with external services.
- Apply working knowledge of debugging techniques, logs, and problem-solving approaches to identify and resolve script-related issues.
- Be able to work in a blended role by supporting both automation development and basic production or operational tasks.
- Good to Have: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred), version control tools such as Git, Ansible, Python package management tools (pip, virtual environments), and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
