- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or CDK.
- Understanding of containerization concepts such as Docker.
- Involvement in automating processes and implementing best practices within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Argo Workflow).
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to DevOps processes, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts and incidents, collaborating with the team to resolve them.
- Work closely with developers and operations teams to ensure the timely resolution of DevOps (infrastructure)-related issues.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, TypeScript) with the ability to read and understand code.
- Understanding of Cloud Service Providers like AWS.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line utilities.
- Eagerness to stay current with emerging DevOps tools and practices.
- Desire to optimize cloud infrastructure for both cost efficiency and ease of development.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Understanding of database storage management concepts.
- Experience with observability tools such as Elasticsearch and/or Prometheus.
